"How it started and how it's going... and the sun continues to rise"

We the People is based on Gilbert Stuart's 1796 portrait of George Washington. The original work hangs in the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC. Over the past several years I've read the news and thought that things could not get any more ridiculous than they already are. The only constant in this time of uncertainty is that the sun continues to rise.
